"Had an amazing time at BDO. You will learn a lot and be treated like one of them. The senior developers are always willing to help and ensure that you are on the right track. The pay is competitive and you get a lot of other good benefits. Probably one of the best in Canada."

"It has been a really great experience for me. You will experience very large code base and it is mostly implemented in Microsoft Stack including SQL service, C#, .Net MVC. Seniors are friendly and helpful. Pay is real competitive. You will also get compensations such a 407 coverage, health care and fun corporation events(archery tags, free dinners)."

"Over all really great experience. You are given meaningful work to do. The senior developers are very helpful and push you to learn the most that you can during your time. Friendly environment and group events help for bonding with full timers. I also got the opportunity to work with many other coop students which was nice."

"Good compensation for Canada, full timers are very friendly and helpful. Work is focused on Microsoft Stack and can get busy/stressful near deadlines. Fun events every month or two (archery tag, indoor skydiving, escape room, etc)."

"Additionally, if you provide real feedback on what they can to improve, no steps will be taken. Very rooted on their Microsoft stack. They might listen if you are lucky but won't change their ways and continue really bad practices. Nice people doing a bad job. Also, I see politics amongst full timers. They have more managers than developers, kinda like upside down triangle. If it weren't for BDO backing them up, I see system group falling apart."

"Perks - Intern event monthly, cake days and some people are really nice! What I didn't like is how repetitive work was, you aren't really LEARNING by doing more, you are just doing a similar task over and over again. Everyone who works there has a wrong mindset. You learn more when you are given responsibility to real software ENGINEERING tasks but there is no engineering required for this role, just pure code. Really bad code base mostly written by interns. Overall, I wouldn't return"

"Pretty good overall, good benefits, good pay as well. Work gets a little boring sometimes. Can be extremely stressful when nearing due date of project. Senior developers are pretty helpful."
