"1. Really low pay (30% lower than average). This is my 5th term, and they are only giving me $20/hour. 2. No mentor. They ask you to finish a giant coding project all by yourself. Some regular employees know how to help you, but they do not give a shit about you and provide you with no help. 3. Always busy with unpaid extra hours. Lots of work is waiting for you to finish with tight deadlines, so you need to work extra hours with no pay."

"Really boring, low-paid and always unpaid extra time, basically writing automation test procedures in Excel, no coding at all. NOT THE SAME AS JOB DESCRIPTION WARNING! Used students as if they are working machines that don't feel tired. Impatient mentor. Really bad overall."

"It is a good Co-op opportunity if you want to dive into real-time control system and see how it works. There are a huge amount of topics related to Automated Train Control system, and you can gain some exposure to them during the 4 months term. However the salary is pretty low (around 20% lower than the average salary), and the tools you will be using is quite outdated."
